It was the end of the school year here, so family responsibilities meant I had a little less time to focus on writing this week. It was a nice break. Still, I was able to chip away at the draft for Book 6 of The Riven Realm, which is coming together. As is often the case with my writing, I've reached a critical point where I'm having to work hard to balance plot and pacing.

I'm also almost through the current pass of edits for Book 5, with only two more chapters to work through! I should have those done within the next day or so, at which point I'll set it aside for a week or two before doing a final read-through in preparation to send it off to my editor.
